Melvin was actually was born at Bloom Hill Farm in Bloomfield, before he came here to be a part of our petting zoo. He was too handsome to give back, so we kept him. Sponsor Melvin to follow his modeling career.
Sandy is our female Alpaca. She is a wonderful Mom and some of her gorgeous babies are “Junior” and “Diego”. She looks different throughout the year depending on when her last shearing was. Her eye is so kind and she gets a twinkle in it when she hears she has a new sponsor.
Diego was born in the summer of 2019. He is by far the cutest alpaca on the farm! His fleece is the softest too! He is a favorite of all and he will wink at you with those long eyelashes if you sponsor him.
Agave is our youngest alpaca on the farm. She was born June 15th, 2022 and her mom is Tequila. If you pucker your lips sometimes she will give you a kiss!
Junior is the most friendly alpaca on the farm. He is an escape artist and has even taught Diego how to come out and say hi! He gets really fuzzy in the winter months and looks like a stuffed animal.
Tequila is the sweetest girl alpaca we have. If you make kissing lips she will run over and give you a kiss. Hopefully she will have a cute baby in the future. She would love your sponsorship to make her feel extra love and allow her to buy a bottle of Tequila!( just kidding)
Caesar the alpaca came all the way to Connecticut from North Carolina! He was donated by a horsey friend of Julie’s who was relocating and wanted Caesar and his girlfriend Crouton to go to a great home. They have both been a wonderful addition to the farm!
Crouton the alpaca is Caesar’s girlfriend. They are inseparable and both came from a farm in North Carolina. She loves attention and is very excited with her new life in a petting zoo. We think her marking are adorable.
